Walmart loses $1000 to an armed robber. No one cares.

Walmart installs $50,000 worth of cameras and hires people to watch and repair them. Everyone wanders why the prices suddenly increased. Deep south republican claim big brother is profiling them by recording their walmart purchases into FBI databases.

We can look at a rock 197 million miles away and tell how old it is and what it is made of but we don’t have the technology to photograph people going in and out of Walmart and make a clear identification.

Robbery with no weapon vs. Armed Robbery carry different sentencing guidelines.

If no one saw a gun, then robbery and this thug will be out on the streets again after serving very little time.

I know this because a former neighbor robbed 3 banks in Pensacola (no weapon just a note) and received 7 yrs in prison. His family said it was a blessing that he was in Prison with liver cancer, no prior health insurance, but the Prison system was giving him medications and treatment.

Just FYI to anyone questioning the camera quality: this store likely has $300k -$400k shrink per year (theft). The cameras aren’t as much to combat shoplifting and theft as they are used for liability protection against fraudulent injury lawsuits.

How much money did he get ??? His sentence ,50+ yrs….& or 1year for every dollar he stole……$1,500.00 dollars =1,500 years……& no parole.
