He broke a restraining order to be there and was angry and threatening her. I personally know 2 women who were killed by the men who supposedly loved them. One was taken at gunpoint and shot in her own car while her sons drove around trying to find and save her. The other was stabbed to death in front of her kids. This woman did what she had to do to stay safe. She will have to live with this but he gave her no choice. It is sad someone lost their life but he came to fight. The perp also appears to be wearing glasses, so that would have shielded him somewhat, even if she landed some droplets. We are far better off without scum like that congesting our roads or walking around, or even worse - our money paying for full room and board. There have been cases where a knife attacker was pepper sprayed by their victim, and they still received the knife and died. In some cases before a domestic violence incident happens the two parties are well past any chance of reconciliation, and I would say that is the case here. Any of us could say should, could, would, but none of us were there.
