Not everyone is protected by the vaccine fully due to immune suppression drugs like methotrexate and Humira and you took away the emergency support they rely on to keep them safe until this is over. What DeSantis has done is prove to a large population that their lives don’t matter to him. He should have made provisions for the medically compromised. I’m afraid of people like you who don’t understand science or how to US government works, but feel like their right to get a haircut trumps the health and safety of their community.

To all the anti DeSantis people out there. I am sure that Mr. DeSantis has many qualified people giving him advise and guidance on the covid issues. That is what makes him a great leader. There are a lot of very well educated and experienced physicians and pathologists that do not agree with everything that is coming from the CDC and the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. I for one like to hear different professional opinions and not just follow one person blindly. Yes, Fauci is a very smart man but there are a lot of other people in the medical profession, that are just as smart and with plenty of experience, that do not agree with Fauci on every issue. And when people chose to follow someone other than Fauci or the CDC, it does not mean they do not believe in “science”. The problem as I see it, is Fauci is wanting to dictate to the medical world what to do, when we should be listening to more than one person on this issue.

I find it odd and disturbing that from the beginning the CDC, the W.H.O. and the U.S. National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, discouraged doctors from trying anything other than what they had prescribed as a treatment, which was nothing. Doctors were told to stop practicing their profession. In most cases when a person was diagnosed with covid they were sent home and told to stay inside and social distance. There were no early treatments to be prescribed, people were just sent home to get worse. This was foolish. And I for one do not follow foolishness! So, to Governor DeSantis I say GOOD JOB! And thank you for having the courage to stand up to the Washington cronies and listen to the real professionals in the medical field.

Bill we all have a choice in the matter not just you . However Your choice does not mean it’s the right choice or the only choice . Covid passports force people who may be required to travel internationally for employment into taking the vaccine . You should respect the choice made by those who do not want the vaccine the same as they should respect yours .. Each to his own .. Michelle Covid is far worse than the Flu & that’s a fact..

DeSantis is one of the few Governors that has a logical brain. Businesses will still have the right to require masks even if you had the vaccine. Dont do business with them and go to another business that has sense. Practically every ailment you get will be considered covid. I myself WILL NEVER VACCINATE AS I ALSO DO NOT MASK UP because why vaccinate if you still have to mask up. It makes as much sense as dying from a gunshot wound and calling it covid. I wonder what the next ploy will be to shut economies down and have most of you scared to death. MAKE AMERICA FLORIDA !!!!

I’m sorry you had to work 160+ hours a week to survive. That shouldn’t be a thing. Just because you suffered doesn’t mean others should suffer the same way.

If someone is willing to work hard for 40 hours a week, they deserve enough money to live.

I can’t believe that we have regressed to the point that this is considered a radical idea.

@sarah, I put “virus” in quotations due to it being a Scamdemic that you Loch Ness Monster believers have fallen for. Be scared, wear your mask, hide under your desk shivering from fear and make sure you get inoculated. The rest of us will breath fresh air, eat out, and enjoy life unafraid of a Scamdemic “virus”.
