nice store but i really do miss all those lovely and very old trees that used to be in that spot. why do they have to always remove more trees? can’t they use space that has already been cleared?

I have worked for Publix for almost three years. I work in Parrish store 1152 , we have another Publix maybe two miles away. These stores are both busy. Publix searches out areas , they know what there doing you will see.

I work for Publix and these stores are planned out several years in advance. 4 miles might seem silly, but the Pensacola metro area is growing like much of the Panhandle and it can support these stores regardless of how close they may be.

So glad to have this in our area. We live in Seminole Landing in Seminole, on the AL./FL. line and this now means we only have to drive 6-8 minutes to get groceries rather than 15. Thank you, Publix for realizing the market that exists here. We’re so happy to have you nearby. And for those naysayers who say it’s 4 miles away from another Publix, if they’ve done the traffic and demographic studies and know the market can support two stores, good for them to see the growth and act on it! American commerce at work.

Disappointed that so many other customers chose not to wear masks though. Guess I’ll have to wait until after my second shot before coming back :/

the people complaining about a grocery store in Beulah are the same people who want low-income housing in the OLF-8 site next to NFCU.
