This bridge had accumulated a lot of debt I thought prior to Hurricane Sally.
I wonder what will happen after Memorial Day weekend when the new bridge is reopened?

@just saying …. The powers of the governor are limited so I would guess he extends it for as long a period of time as Florida law allows him too.

Why all the extensions? Why not just say it will be lifted until the new bridge is open?

Mr Seale, good point. Same thing could of been said in 2004 when Ivan hit and knocked out the I-10 Escambia Bay bridge.
