@just sayin.... what a ridiculous, illogical comment. Joy Bryant has lived in Molino for more than 25 yrs. When she and so many of us built our homes there, it WAS because if was quiet and in the middle of nowhere. We didn't want the noise and human pollution of being in town. But, the growth in that community has been INCREDIBLE!!!! And, with the growth of human pollution, the immense amount of traffic and the need for the Sheriff's substation in operation...we haven't seen the benefits of a store or fast food. Molino isn't in the middle of nowhere...only 15 minutes from Nine Mile Road. Beulah is 20 minutes from downtown Pensacola....would Beulah then be considered in the middle of nowhere? Please use common sense when commenting.

Hello, I am one of the tenants of the new plaza. Hopefully my restaurant will be open in four months or so. Right now, the biggest issue is finding employees. At all my stores, we are having an issue finding help. If you drive up and down nine mile or anywhere else around town, you’ll see that everyone is hiring. Almost every restaurant in town needs help. Some of us are more desperate than others. The publix is going to obviously draw a good number of workers but that doesn’t always leave workers for the rest of us. I rely on young and old people and I go some weeks without a single person inquiring about a job- even high schoolers! I’m not sure what role the pandemic has played in lack of employment interest but it is worse than I have ever seen. There has been a great bit of growth in Beulah for years but hopefully there will be enough people looking for employment to support the growth. Otherwise the progress will falter. When you see bad service from any restaurant in Pensacola right now it is almost always lacking-employee related.

I gladly welcome a new Publix to this area! The one on Pine Forest and Nine Mile is nice and the workers are friendly, but it gets treacherous getting in and out of there! It was not well thought and designed for all of the traffic running in and out of the parking lot. If we get one more fast food chicken restaurant, I am going to literally scream! LOL...Please!!...For all of us who live out this way, we could use some nice restaurants and something besides Mexican and burger joints! Of course, it wouldn't hurt to have another Krispy Kreme further up north too! I'm sure hoping that someone takes some of the "outlying field" land and builds a nice outlet mall. We could benefit from one. Let's face it. People are migrating that direction and it is spreading out, growing and thriving. It is time to accomodate those of us living in new subdivisions as well as those who have lived in the area for years and settled for driving long distances to buy food and clothing.

Since when is one grocery store and one fast food restaurant hustle-bustle? All the woman wants is a decent full service grocery store closer than 20 miles away. It's not like she is trying to bring Navy Federal out to Molino LOL

@ Joy Bryant....Why move out to the middle of nowhere and then complain that you don't have fast food and grocery stores? That is the whole reason to move to the country is to get away from all of the hustle and bustle. You have missed the point and should vacate back to the inner city and stop wishing the rat race fast pace life for the peaceful living folks.

I live in Molino and there aren't a ton of new subdivisions BUT there is massive growth and I can't understand WHY we can't get a grocery store one fast food and a decent restaurant - I am thrilled for Beulah but I WILL have to drive even further to another new store!!! And I didn't see where they have the liquor store - do they?? Of course we don't have anything other than a jammed dollar general (aisles as well) and a country style SMALL restaurant

I would give anything to go back in time to the old Twilley Grocery Store. Best service in town. I wish that Publix has half the customer service that Twilleys had. “Times are a changing “!
