They were probably talking about the one at 9-mile and Old Palafox. We use to stop in there frequently. It was convenient for us, but not always the cleanest…..but they also never seemed to have enough help. One or two people doing all the work during busy lunch time crowds.
Wonder if the buy-out is why they closed, or was it for another reason?

9 Mile & Chemstrand is and has always been take-out and delivery only. And it’s never had carpet. What are y’all talking about?

Good news for business, but I imagine many of the locations that have dining rooms will need a facelift. I remember the Nine Mile & Chemstrand location back when I was at UWF. Eww.

The one at 9 Mile and Chemstrand had gotten disgusting. The chairs were filthy and falling apart along with the carpet. I talked to the previous owner(s) one day when they just happened to be there and they seemed to care less. I hope it all comes back with success.

Pizza Hut, KFC and Taco Bell all went to crap when PepsiCo bought them. Maybe this will fix them, but I doubt it.
