You think nobody should buy alcohol because some women are in abusive relationships? I think maybe you might need to do some self assessment. If you are in an abusive relationship, you should get help, and or help someone who is. But adults in escambia county are done with this foolishness. This has been an embarrassment!

ka that’s the stupidest thing you could have said! We all know you weren’t saved because you couldn’t buy alcohol before 1 pm on Sunday! He would have just waited until 1 pm to abuse you? It’s not about drinking alcohol before 1 pm, it’s about freedom of choice perhaps????

Well how many drunk butt whippings will one woman or man take from a spouse. Obviously you accepted it as a routine thing…. and the drunk abuser did also…. people will only do what you allow. And if didn’t you call the police or grab a knife and stab the mofo after the first time then you approved of the drunk beatings. Wake up people. Glad they changed the Sunday alcohol times. I used to buy beer sometimes before NFL games on Sunday mornings, and I would consistently forget about this bizarre regulation. It wasn’t that big of a deal, but it came up a few times a year and was pretty annoying.

I don’t care if you drink or not or what your political or religious beliefs are BUT, this has to be very scary for women that are stuck in an abusive relationship. I was once one of those women and it was just terrifying when my husband would drink ..he was really nice when sober but alcohol turned him into a monster ..so now those women will have to deal with this even more knowing their husband or wife can go get alcohol at any time in the morning, when Sunday morning used to be a quiet time for them. just sad that all people care about is making money off the sales and being like other counties . I guess if those other counties set their town on fire then pensacola would follow that also.
