Had the roads had ice as forecasted, this would have been a different story. Thankful for the County officials who took precautions for all the staff who would have had to brave the roadways.

I know its cold and under most circumstance we would not be shut down. However, had the roads been icy it could have been dangerous. The majority of people here do not have snow tires and etc and are not used to being on icy roads. So those of you that think the counties are wrong should take that into consideration.

I agree with you 100% Bring it on. Those offices SHOULD be open today and it’s absolutely ridiculous that they closed because of a little cold weather. All we can do is vote the morons make dumb decisions out of office.

I work out if town in sometimes -30 weather and they don’t shutdown. I’ve been on the roads this morning in north escambia county and there ain’t no ice. I can understand the schools but county services? I’ve been trying to get an RV registration done for months and have very limited time and the Tax Collector keeps changing the rules on how they do things. Yesterday they’re closed for Presidents Day now this. They could have and they should have opened and that goes for ALL government entities. TOTALLY PATHETIC !!!!!
