“Century” inadvertently points out what is wrong with our sense of justice . They need to be punished because “next time they might break into the wrong house and something bad might happen to THEM”. Shouldn’t our regard be for the murdered individual or their next victims?

This is sad y’all kill someone for what drugs money now Yall lost ur freedom.I have kids around there ages this was wrong what they did and they must pay for it or next time they might break in to the wrong house and something bad happens to them but don’t always blame the mom or dad because they could have been raised like they should just turn as they get older or get in with the wrong people

@SH – exactly. Someone on death row has all appeals paid for by the State, most appeals are automatic, and justice can take decades. In the meantime, they cost $1-2M more than a prisoner sentenced to life without parole.

@Nathan – sounds good but the Israelites didn’t have the FL/US justice system.

@SH that’s hogwash, giving endless appeals and taking twenty years to execute them cost more. Getting them executed in a orderly and expedited manner would be much less expensive. Building prisons for more cost billions.

Actually, the death penalty is more expensive than life imprisonment. And it’s not really much of a deterrent.

But why are there still crimes like this related to Marijuana? The vast majority support its legalization. Bring it out into the open where there is no underground criminal culture surrounding it.

These fine kids just made an error in judgement. I’m sure a social worker can make them see the error in their ways. (sic) Sometimes people are natural born evil. The only cure for that is to destroy them in a manner set by law.
