That’s EVERYWHERE, not just Northwest Florida. And you should never leave your kids unattended ANYWHERE. That’s parenting 101.

I am a little curious about two things though…if he did this to her 6 years ago, WHY was he not in prison or dead and WHY would the sister be allowing him to sneak in to visit her???? Doesn’t make sense on that part.

@ William Lingo you are correct. He started out with a no bond when he was arrested. When someone is arrested they have the right to what is called first appearance. Within the first 24 hours of arrest. Cut off time being midnight. So a judge can decide by state guide lines rather to issue a bond. It can get confusing in cases like this and say battery cases. Best thing to do is contact an attorney to answer any questions or bonding agent.

Why would you think this would be the last anyone ever sees of him?!? Look up registered sex offenders in the Cantonment, Pace, and Milton areas!!! And these are just the ones that registered. I would never leave my kids unattended in Northwest Florida.

The woman who stole a SUV in the adjacent article of this paper got “no bail” so I’m hearing her offense was worse than Jose’s utterly repulsive ( and in my opinion the worst crime possible) who was offered bail? That judge is… well, I won’t say because if I do my comment will be deleted.

The judge doesn’t have a choice of withholding bail in cases like this, the law says that the court has to set reasonable bail in these circumstances. I don’t agree with it, but you can’t blame the Judge, the judge has to follow the laws created by the legislature whether it is state or federal.
