I was lucky enough to be able to bring my 81yr old Momma to Jay Hospital this morning to get her vaccine and they were amazing! We walked straight into the building ( Dr. Smith’s old building), filled her paperwork for her and she was immediately brought in the back and they asked her a few questions, stuck her, we returned to the lobby to sit there for 15 minutes and then we were out of there. Several different office personnel was out there to help make things run smoothly. As a retired employee of 25 years, I want to say that I am still as proud of them now that I was back then!
Way to keep up the great work Jay Hospital!

They did a clinic in Century I’m sorry you missed it but you contact the clinic in Century and see when they are doing another one.

Sacred Heart 9s doing a wo0nderful job getting people shots with the vaccine that is available. Escambia County as usual has dropped the ball. They have passed the doses that they had over to the local hospital to administer. They have NO system in place to give shots. Gov DeSantis should just send all of Escambia Counties allotment to Sacred Heart, they have a very efficient system in place at Olive Baptist and other places away from the hospital to administer the shots. Hospitals can do better than grocery stores, who can only give 75 shots per day. Let them sell groceries and let the experts do vaccines.

I was able to sign up through the health department way back when they had the website open. Never heard a word from them. Seems like it was a waste of time. Still waiting to get lucky enough to get on the list somewhere for my vaccine.
