The county road department has nothing to do with this. It’s CSX working on their railroad tracks. The same CSX that does the same thing across the entire country..

Why is this work not being done at night so it doesn’t affect so many travelers?

Thousands of commuters will have their drive interrupted because csx doesn’t want to pay workers to work overtime or after hours. I have lived all over the United states and this area by far has the most inept road departments I have ever seen.

CSX and the county say the crossing will be closed and motorists should detour.

CSX has not provided that info to us or the county. (And it might depend on the rain that’s forecast for tomorrow.)

This is ridiculous they should not be allowed to close this road. This will make it harder for alot of people to have to go around. They should do it on the weekend.
