I do not like being forced to do anything. I am 75 and do wear my mask in crowded stores etc but that’s to protect me from others who may have it and don’t know it. If you have common sense then you know what is best for you. if I was healthy and 20 I probably would wear a mask less.

Thank GOD that our Gov DeSantis believes we are all smart enough to take care of ourselves. I live very close to the Alabama border and the amount of people who think this mask mandate is the most ridiculous intrusion into our civil liberties is out of the roof. No one wears them in Orange Beach and Gulf Shores.
Please wash your and hands and keep your space clean…you know all the things normal people do when you are dealing with the flu season. But wearing a mask is about as ridiculous as you can get.

What Constitutional rights do you think you are giving up? Where in the Constitution does it say you have a God-given right to endanger the lives of your neighbors through your own negligence?

For my own curiosity, do you extend the same argument to other people who try to protect their community? Do you think that people that wash their hands, restaurants that practice safe food handling, and people who take an Uber home after a night of drinking are “sheep” too?

It’s not doing any good without enforcement, and there aren’t enough cops for that. I see maskless people all the time in stores in Alabama.

The point of wearing a mask is that it reduces the respiratory droplets that you expel when you cough/sneeze. Saying ” If you’re wearing a mask then your safe…right?” is like saying “If you are driving sober, why do you care if I drink and drive?”
