Many do not understand the status of FLORIDA RESIDENT.
They think owning a secondary property in Florida grants them Florida Resident status and that’s a problem. Now, several foreigners and residents of other states in the USA are taking advantage of the situation and talking about it openly on social networks. If you are a US citizen and own property in Florida, but live in another state for more than 183 days ,you are a “snowbird” but you are not considered a resident of FL. The “official” rule to be declared “Florida Resident” is that you must live in FL for more than half of the year and your address must be considered the property as your primary residence. It doesn’t matter if you own or rent the property in Florida, it will depend on where you live officially. You must live 6 months and one day in FL to be considered a Florida resident. THE RESTRICTION OF “FLORIDA RESIDENCY” FOR THE COVID 19 VACCINE MAY HAVE BEEN CHANGED TO ALLOW YOU TO RECEIVE THE VACCINE ? FOR SURE,TO GET THE VACCINE YOU NEED TO BE 65+ FOR NOW.

39,000 non residents have already gotten the vaccine. So we live in North Escambia,and Century gets 200 doses, Flomaton AL residents can get a vaccine before me because they are able to get an appointment?….About right ✅
