I remember when we had the H1N1 scare, they rallied our troops (Nurses & School Nurses-Health Dept) and we administered shots for the community. This seems like a time to rally up your troops....young, old, retired and willing. Shouldn't this come under the heading of a true community emergency? The Health Department can organize very well and get the job done. I'm sure if you asked for qualified licensed Nurses to step forward and let's take this on, you would get a big response. Most nurses want to help...Not just report the numbers, let's do something to help our own community to prevent more numbers. Behind every number is someone's loved one!
