It’s January 27 and I still have not received a phone phone call or email from anyone about if I need and what I need to submit as far as more information goes this is incredibly frustrating

When will the small business grants for Escambia County will be reviewed for those applicants that had incomplete applications and didn’t receive any money for small businesses

I sent i my documents got email stated they were reviewing my application.. but never got any emails stating if they needed more information… Trying calling every day got aswering machine then finally got someone on the phone to be told they never got my information and the now the window has closed..

I applied back when it was first offered, in November I found out I was missing paperwork I went to the Brownsville community center filled out what I was missing, application said I was approved but I never heard from anyone and did not receive any check, I could really use it, my husband is on disability and I haven’t worked since April due to covid. We have made it but it hasn’t been easy

I was told to submitt my W-9 form and I did, said my account was under review, after that I heard nothing else.

I hope this is true ! My home was flooded during hurricane sally And my job has been effected by covid . I applied as soon as the portal opened . Never could reach anyone for help .

I applied since I was sick for 6 weeks with covid and my son couldn’t work during that time because he was residing in my home while forms were shut down. I was told I may qualify but never heard anything back. He needed the money to pay his tuition.

It’s utterly ridiculous that they can’t staff a few people to answer calls. Giving people in need of help fast hope but leaving them hanging in anticipation of possibly getting a randomly timed call or a letter that may never come is just more anxiety to people already pushed to the limits. Set up some sort of contact/resource point and quit treating your citizens like peasants waiting at the castle gates for tossed coins.
