Golf carts, bicycles and any other motorized or non motorized vehicle should not be allowed in the street with a car. Roadways should be for cars only and bicycles should be on sidewalks with people walking. It is a design flaw and flaw in logic to allow bicycles on the roadways. It's far too often we read and hear of pedestrians and bicyclists mowed down by a car along the road. It's much easier to avoid a bike or person walking that a fast moving car. I would have assumed people would have figured out that it's too risky to walk or bike on the road. Simple logic will tell you human vs vehicle. vehicle always wins.
