In response to the rant from “Somebody’s mother”, I thought I’d offer a few points as food for thought. If you are in fact someone’s mother, I hope you’ve taught your children better than to associate with known criminals, and also hope you aren’t sending them down the same path by making the same old tired excuses that “no one gave them a chance”. Contrary to what you’d have us believe, it’s actually quite easy to avoid “catch(ing) a felony” and going to jail or prison: simply don’t use or deal drugs or commit theft, fraud etc. “Area resident” was absolutely correct in saying that the crime the shooter committed should’ve kept them locked up much longer than five years. The victim here certainly didn’t deserve to be executed like this I think we’d all agree, but taking responsibility for one’s own life and not blaming anyone and everyone for a long string of criminal activity is the only way to move forward in this world. I suspect the God you referenced would agree.

Glad im not myles friend, he’s known to kill them. Killed his friend and only got 5 years. Probably will be out in 3 this time. The female is just confused. One day she wants to be a boy the next a girl day after that wants to be a killer. They need a good a** whoopin or as some old folk would say “ need knockin in the head”.

Chris was one of the most people I know. He didn’t deserve to die the way he did. He never really had any enemines because everyone liked him. Hatered comes in all shapes, color, and ages. Unfornatly his was some of his close family members. Who already know what Chris younger brother had been throught other stuff now this. I”m glad to know the people the were caught. Now it’s time for the judicial system to put them killers where they belong. Joseph Christopher Smith you will be missed.

To the area resident that posted convicted felons shpuld be kept locked up and out of sight …let me tell you something … It’s easier than you think to become a felon! You can catch a felony for just about anything now days ! Not just from drugs … But fraud ..theft.. Etc.. Maybing even being a judgmental prick like yourslef. Don’t base one person’s mistakes on all other convicted felons… And remember this … .NO ONE SIN IS GREATER THAN THE OTHER … we all fall short … Id love to be there when God judges you …everything comes to light … And personally i knew Chris…not as just a convicted felon …but a friend ..a person ..a brother a son and damn good hearted person who just fell into the world but society wouldn’t cut him a break … Its hard for felons to fade back into society with people constantly judging not knowing what forgiviness is in thier hearts…so people(felons) give up …because they see people like ypu aren’t going to give them that chance !
