@Paul The reason so many teens are getting out and turning into major criminals is because our justice system is not providing the rehabilitation needed for our teens to be able to learn something else. I know, I know, you’re going to say the parents are at fault…yes they are. But when these teens at 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, didn’t have the parenting they deserve and are tried as adults, treated as adults in jail, get out without any rehabilitation effort at all they have no other knowledge than that of being a criminal. If, we, as a county, state, country, human being can’t find a way to help these children then there’s no hope for them. After they get out they can’t get a job because of their record. There has to be a way to help learn another way to live. I know some are beyond help, but some aren’t.

The police and the judges have to abide by established guidelines. Many times the perp will walk because witnesses do not want to get involved or jurors harbor a secret animosity against the prosecution.

The police arrest the people & it’s the judges who let them out. This is one reason to research the judges who come up for re-election.

This doesn’t have anything to do with defunding the police and that will Never happen here. It has more to do with how our courts are. Giving people a slap on the wrist and letting teens slide should be stopped.
