So much more of this could be done in public schools to help those on a different course than college. The ratio of retiring electricians to their replacement for example, is 3:1. In the early 2000's, I was able to learn many skills from Auto Body at Tate High. I was amazed to learn that the class was phased out shortly after my graduation. We need to find a balance between preparing some students for a path through higher education and preparing some for skilled trades. This is great.
