If the address is incomplete or it can’t be forwarded, and it gets returned there is nothing that can be done? We are in the middle of a financial crisis people, folks have moved since September.. You have their phone numbers, their social, their name, why would you not call them? Where does the money go? This makes no sense. I know someone who was forced to move, I was forced to move, so if the people who live in my old home decide to write return to sender on the mail and it gets sent back, that’s it? It’s over? Sincerely, Confused. What the hell kind of public service is this? You refuse to interact with the public. Just because someone was displaced should not disqualify them from receiving assistance. This program was poorly ran from start to finish and everyone knows it. My Christmas Wish is that everyone who worked on this higher up to get investigated. Seems a little weird that we have millions of dollars but can’t figure out what to do if someone moves? What a joke. And then they have the audacity to say stop complaining, this is a privilege not a right? Sounds like someone who can afford to feed their family, sounds like someone who isn’t sick, someone who isn’t worried about bills. How dare you say that eating is a right not

I want to know if theres any help out there for a burn out victim. Im a family of three, we’ve experience house fire in july. In which we lost everything. Covid -19 in which i got laid off on march 27, 2020 was the last day i worked.Then Hurrican Sally , that our city was declared a disaster area. If anyone have need of this cares act funding would be mh family. Unfortunately i didn’t know about this cares act funding. Is there any funding out there for my famiily please help.

I applied as soon as the application window opened. I submitted all required documents, and within the 3 weeks no County Representative contacted me to notify me of the status of my application. I called and sent a few emails hoping that someone would answer or reply, so I can be certain I didn’t make the slightest mistake. But 3 months later my application still says “Application Submitted”. Now, all processing of applications for the Grant Program has closed. All applicants have been made aware of their status through the application portal. Since, the status of application for my household states “Application Submitted”, does it mean it was obviously submitted but not accepted? If so, it would be nice to know why my household wasn’t eligible instead of being ignored and basically left hanging; because we were negatively impacted by the pandemic. I was not able to work from March to May. My husband’s work hours were also reduced around that time. We were living off credit cards. When I finally got my unemployment checks, they were only enough to cover the bills. Also, I know people who were approved and got their checks from the Family Emergency Grant and their 2019 income were higher than my household’s. So how come they were approved and my family wasn’t? I called a couple more times and left voicemails, sent several emails, but no success. I need to know if my application was even seen by someone at all… I’m happy for the families who got approved and received their checks, but I can’t help to feel disappointed because I don’t even know what happened to my application. My family was really counting on getting the Grant.
