The people who help us was very rude. I was in line number 10 they close the line down at 715. It was taking them long because people didn’t have an email. But, I had an email the lady before me had emails. I was a cov 19 patient. We had 45 mins to get home an try to upload our information. I had to try an drive from Brownsville to lillian hwy. There was no way i could make it to my house in 45 mins. It took me 5 to walk to my car. I was disgusted, this program was suppose to help us. It did the opposites Its sad i had proof an i feel the people who was effect by it an could show proof should’ve been help

i was one of the first to apply… i have been approved for 2 months now and i still dont have the grant… its december the 9th.. ive received a final notice from gulf power… i been without water for over a month now… this is ridiculous to have to wait all this time when i know people who filed last minute and have gotten their grant a month and a half ago! i filed within the first 10 minutes of the app opening online!

How do I apply? Was out of work 5 weeks after hurricane Sally as I do contact work from home and my whole region was hit back to back. I received very little from Fema and still have not been retro acted through UI. We are behind on just about everything and suffering. Just could use a little help. Power bill is astronomical and I’m not sure what we will do. I never even heard of this program until today.

So they missed their own 1st, 2nd AND 3rd deadlines that they set for themselves? How was this so mismanaged? Seeing thousands going towards administrative fees but it doesn’t seem like it’s been responsibly used to help the citizens in our area in a timely manner.
