Unfortunately, escambia county does not have that much of a taxpayer base.. let’s be real? The beach and homes along scenic highway?. It is surely growing, but it’s not nearly enough. Large homes in value of 300k or more need to be built at a consistent rate through 2027 to see any large scale increase in funds at escambia county. Unfortunately, its reality and not what citizens want to hear. We all want nice paved roads with wide sidewalks, lighting, traffic lights, no democratt panhandlers,
well trained EMS, fast police and fire response times but you dont get that without big tax hikes.

Let’s be honest, the County Commission could care less about Pineville Road being paved. After speaking to our Commissioner, its obvious we are not a priority. Money is better spent elsewhere, in there eyes.
