These type crimes are mainly being perpetrated by people in the child’s life. In the last 2 years alone, articles have included sexual abuse by teachers, coaches, friends of the family, and babysitters and those are just the ones I remember. People need to wake up and quit worrying about the pervert that lives 3 blocks over on the Registered Sex Offender list, they need to start paying close attention to the people their children interact with daily.
