I saw this vehicle, apparently right after it happened. Driving down West Roberts, the car in front of me came to a complete stop, sat there, I wondered why we sat so long, then finally went around this SUV, I moved up behind it, headlights on, just sitting there in the lane. No other traffic except another smaller SUV sitting on that side road, way back, pointing towards us with headlights on. I finally went around him when I saw he wasn’t moving. When I went around him, I saw smoke coming from under the hood, so I just thought the vehicle ran hot, and possibly a young or new driver unsure what to do. About an hour later I came back on Kingsfield towards hwy 29 and when I topped the hill past Stephani, saw blue lights, a cop sitting sideways in the road blocking both lanes, so I turned down Tate road. I flashed my headlights before I turned to see if he was really blocking both lanes., After I turned, the cop shined his spotlight on me driving down Tate Road. I figured they were waiting on a tow truck at first, but something told me there was another problem.

I was awaken by what sounded like a machine gun going off around 2:am that morning. Then about 10 to 15 minutes later I heard sirens. I knew something bad had happened, so I started praying.

@Linda they will find the shooters their DNA is on the lead that is in the bullet holes in the vehicle and probably on the shell casings too.
