I’ve seen this happen before and it was in my family. My late brother was murdered by his 16 year old stepson as my brother was sleeping. The kid shot him in the head with a .357 magnum at close range, blowing off the left portion of his head just behind the left ear. Here is the sad part, the piece of crap DA (Escambia Co. 1994) at the time only got 2nd Degree Murder and the kid spent all of 11 years in prison. Justice was served later, he OD’d on fentanyl 2 years after his release and died in his own vomit on the floor.

Just what makes a person kill their grandfather. A person like deserves the death penalty. Why should tax payers foot the bill for many years to come for someone that would do such a thing. A person like that can’t be rehabilitated, so why waste the time and money. Doesn’t make sense.
