My wife is a nurse for the Dept. Of Health in Escambia they are still testing at their site on Gregory St & are actually ramping up to be able increase testing since they are aware that the state sponsored sites such as UWF & Publix are closing.

I am all for going about our lives without overreaching government control, but I do not think it is wise to pretend that the virus does not exist. If the testing sites were not being used, I can understand shutting down one and consolidating resources. However, we all know that the virus is not beaten and I am afraid closing testing sites is going a step too far in our desire to get back to normal.

The Health Department is still doing testing. You can go to the ER if you are sick enough that you feel that you need treatment from a doctor.
