Just wondering why some folks are getting power for two hours and then disconnected? Why disconnect them.. It doesn’t make any sense.

I have a brother in law that worked as a lineman. He worked long hard hours after storms and came home feeling so good from the appreciation people showed him. So I always try to let them know we also appreciate what they do for us. “May God bless them all and keep them safe.”

Hang in there folks. We were without power 3 1/2 days and ours just came back on 7:15 pm Sat. There are so many trucks and workers out that we saw while driving today. Gas lines aren’t near as long as places are opening back up. Whew! As always, thank you NorthEscambia for keeping us updated with info.

We saw power trucks on 61st and Brenda Ave. All of 61st is lit up. A few houses on Brenda Ave, but the rest of Brenda Ave and Sandra. Could’ve not hurt the power company working on 61st and Brenda to get power to the rest of us???? I mean less than 50 homes. Seriously??? I thought the power companies were supposed to be working around the clock?

Can’t figure it out, yesterday 99 percent of my neighborhood have power, behind Dreamland North, off Kipling Street, but the on a and only block I live on still has no power can’t figure it out needless to say I’m disappointed

Thank you to all the linemen who do not complain when they get home to homes without power so others can have power. The conditions you all work in are extreme and many selfish people do not understand what y’all have to do in order for them to get power. People just because your neighbor has power doesn’t mean you will at the same time. Your lines may be fed from different areas. So thankful for all the linemen and your hard work.

Golf power is lying about the number of houses with power restored . When we called last nght ,they told us power was restored to our area but that is simply untrue. There were completely unaware of downed power lines on our street even as power trucks drive repeatedly down our street. Shameful!

I wanna say thank you for all the men and women that are trying too get the power back on! I’m staying at a motel on Palafox and these employees got up at 430 am skipped the breakfast and got in there trucks.. They are truly amazing

There’s approximately 12 line trucks parked at County Annex in Century. Can’t do anything without replacement power poles and transformers, so they’re waiting just like us
