If it’s contract (as self employed) no OT rate.. sadly this pays better than my FL security job did..

This sounds good on the surface but it’s not that good in the long run. 12 hour days+overtime back to back is no joke. Even nurses do 12 on 12 off. After a week most people will hit that exhaustion wall and that’s when accidents happen. Hopefully, there’s a scheduler with a knowledge of OSHA standards. Whoever wrote this clearly hasn’t a clue and sugar coated the hell out this one.

I’m not sure how some of you are doing the math. 12 hours for 7 days a week is 84hrs. The first 40 hours are at $12/hr, which is $480. 44 hrs are at $18/hr, which is then another $792, for a total of $1272 per week. That divided by 84 hrs averages to $15/hr.
