I am searching for MRE’s for my building. It’s a senior/disabled:complex. Most of these people don’t have transportation, and their Foodstamps are gone from the first of the month. People were throwing all their food out today and it was killing me to watch them. Some of our residents are in wheelchairs, blind, or Have no way of getting out to get any food. If someone can help us by contacting FEMA or whoever has access to the right people. There are #160 units here and we need help.
If you can help or know someone that can, we are at Johnson Lakes Apartments on Johnson Avenue in Pensacola. My heart goes out to all affected by Sally. Take care & God Bless. He will always take care of us.

First of all…thank you to all volunteers getting these WONDERFUL, MUCH NEEDED ITEMS out to those in need. Next…I am kindly asking that those of you waiting in these lines for these items be respectful of those of us living around those distribution centers. DO NOT BLOCK entry and exits to our drive ways or roadways to our homes. Grant us the courtesy of entering and exiting our living space. That would be much appreciated.

I didn’t need and still don’t need food or water. I was able to get into my local Publix, although with a 30+ minute line wait. What we needed early on was ICE. Publix, rightfully so, had a limit per person. Why there were 5+ aisles with people waiting to check out is beyond my imagination.

Many years ago, we were not able to get into grocery stores. That was not the case this time. I don’t need MRE’s or water bottles…others may need that but I don’t. What I need is ICE. And yet there will only be ice offered at 2 of the 7 stations being set up. What about the rest of us? We can go without ICE?

I lost everything in my fridge while working at a local hospital. I lost my freezer waiting for stores to open so I could cook what was in my freezer. I get I can make a claim on my homeowner’s insurance but I choose not to do that. It’s not their fault my groceries were destroyed.

I just want my power restored. Moving East to West tells us that you are moving Rich to Poor. I’m in the Poor place but I don’t feel that way. I bought a house I love in a neighborhood that has had its challenges. Why do I have to be lumped into the “poor” category?

BJs has 20# bags of ice not free the liquor store there is quickest and they have gas with no line this was 30 minutes. Sams club parking lot full.

I am proud to say my hubby is on his way with a load of ice as we speak, please be patient, truck drivers are doing the best they can to get us supplies. Supplies are coming!!

we try to get some this morning the line is too long miles back and not enough gasoline to wait and kids on my car they should do it distribución house by house

Thankful for what we were able to get today in Century. Line was efficient and they got us on through without unnecessary lag.

Heard they’re out of MRE’s, though, already. Does anyone know if they will have more of those tomorrow?
