FDOT: Finish the current project you have going on along that exact same stretch of road FIRST before planning the next change. You don’t even know the impact of the current changes yet. Get out there, in person, and oversee the project. It’s horrible. They’ve been at it for over 4 years, and it still looks like they’ve barely started. “Our tax dollars at sleep.” The current project is very simple, yet it’s taking years just to modify a few miles of flat road. After Ivan, the I-10 bridge across Escambia Bay took less time to plan, survey, and build. This is like I-110 all over again: years and years of running a road project like a jobs program, making multiple mistakes, and ending up with a design that a smart 8th grader couple improve upon with an hour of observation and analysis. We deserve better. Follow the money.

They need to worry about finishing 9 mile first this is the longest road construction job I’ve ever seen it literally looks like it has gotten nowhere I agree with John they are too busy worried about tearing down the historical monuments then getting these roads done they should’ve built navy federal farther in the city instead of invading Beulah, it use to be so country out in Beulah not its a wreck!!

Navy a Federal is the best thing to happen to the area. I’ve lived here 32 years. They brought 30,000 jobs to us.

Navy federal is the worst thing to happen to that area. Rent prices have sky rocketed, and everything along 9 mile is so unaffordable for a single dad. I have been applying for the past 12 years at Navy Federal and have only gotten 2 interviews. Being the manager of the SSA mailroom & QA , surely I would have thought I could have gotten a job in there mail room. NFCU is a joke.

I agree with Drew…The Credit Union’s traffic coming out of their campus should be routed to the interstate. This would allow their employees and the local residents a better quality of life.

I do have to agree with everyone about Roads, Inc…snails pace…must be milking the state for millions in over runs and cost. State Road 87 was started and completed in more time than this project.

Additionally, WHY is there a U-turn at Navy Federal Way? Your making the residents of the small neighborhood on Nature Creek Blvd turn west to go east! Update the median so that they can turn left from their own road!
