I feel for you Susan and hope someone will help. I had a huge oak tree Ripped out of the ground myself, luckily it does not present danger. I would like to know if a neighbor should feel obligated to cut several of his snapped trees On his side , if they are leaning all over my backyard still hanging by their roots. . they already crushed my fence, so more damage does not matter . I would feel much safer to move about if they were totally on the ground (and without presenting a risk probably cheaper for me to have them cut up ) this neighbor has 6 acres and the backside of his property is heavily wooded - they never go there and don’t care about this strip of their land.
