Congrats Atmore!!! This is going to be awesome for the community and the surrounding communities with all the new jobs coming. Does anyone know who the General Contractor is/going to be? I would like to get a head start on getting a job.

There is a tremendous need for housing in Atmore, with the casino here. This news hopefully will push someone to bring more apartments and housing.

Albany, Georgia has pecan cracking and shelling. They produced so many pecan shells that locals used them as mulch in flower beds and under bushes beside restaurants. I can picture that with peanut shells.

Too bad Century can’t find a profitable business to come, and provide jobs.
IF they can find local workers of working age who want to work.

I bet many of those jobs go to immigrants who come here on agriculture work visas. I doubt this does very much to improve Atmore.

has there been a construction contractor awarded the job yet? If not how does a company solicit work/contract?
