i hope this is just a level coat if not this company sould not do any more work in escambia, to many high and low spots… one thing there wont be any speeding on that road.

Im just happy its being repaved, so many potholes & patches. The road is in bad shape. We havent had to wait too long in line. Guess I hit it at the right time.

Has anyone taken a look at section of road they repaved? I’ve been on roller coasters with fewer dips and bumps. If this is an example of their work, lord help us.

People who live on Chemstrand and roads off of Chemstrand have been having a huge problem going and coming for several days…….my daughter could barely get out of her house area within an hour…….I tried to go to her house two days ago, and had to turn around and forget it after sitting there for over a half hour……..those people are way too slow letting people get by…..went to a store and came back by that area a half hour later, and saw the same cars sitting there….years ago, I remember being able to get by road resurfacing companies a lot faster…….

They could pass on resurfacing Old Chemstrand, and instead PLEASE put a sidewalk on Chemstrand Rd, 10 Mile Rd, and Old Palafox. I mean, how many people have to die every year getting hit walking or biking in the road before someone simply installs a sidewalk. There are many people walking and biking in the road all day every day on those roads, thousands of cars, and not so much as a bike lane..

Just remember, road work is given to the lowest bidder. You get what you pay for.There”s a reason for the low bid, Less equipment to work with,fewer employees, etc.

When they get finished with Chemstrand in November, Is it possible to relocate them to Nine Mile Road between Hwy 29 and Pine Forest? Maybe then that section of roadway could be open by Christmas 2020.
