Are there benches in the areas that bulge out along the path?

If so, are there not supposed to be shades placed over these benches in these areas?

Rode the path this morning.
Saw several single speed cruiser type bicycles. We had 7spd cruisers and shifted to 1st gear to get to the top.
Not a problem for 67 year old codgers.

Just get off and walk it up, but hang on for the ride down!!
Traffic is very noisy so if you have ear plugs, consider wearing them. Bring a couple bottles of water.

Good place to park vehicle is the Wall South Military memorial Park and cross the road over to sidewalk to ride and access the Bay Bridge walkway.

The walkway is plenty wide for passing and has a divided line.

Live a litlle,
Be a gypsy,
Get around!
Get your feet up off the ground,
Live a little,
Get around!

@ Caitlin Tierney
The incline of the 3 mile bridge is most likely to be too steep for a single speed bike. However with determination and a lot of effort, I believe it could be done.
