Construction barrels were put up in front of the Walmart on Hwy 29 several weeks ago, and yet I've not seen one single person working on it. There are businesses on the West side of Hwy 29 that cannot be accessed by anyone going North. You either have to get off Hwy 29 at 9 mile road, do a complete circle back onto Hwy 29 South bound in order to get to those businesses(Don't get me started on the change they've made to the traffic light to go south from 9 Mile Road to Hwy 29-no turn on red), or you have to turn at the dry cleaners(not sure of the name of that road)go to the end of that road and turn right onto another road(again not sure of the name)which brings you down to Home Depot on 9 mile, at which point, you have to turn on 9 mile rd, go back the way you came, down Hwy 29 just to get to the place you could've already been at had there been a way to turn from the north bound lanes, but NO, they have barrels blocking you from doing so. South bound traffic has an open cut through lane to get to Walmart, but nothing for the businesses across the street. It's one thing if progress is being made, but I am literally there every day, and not once since they blocked everything off with those barrels weeks ago, has there been one single person out there working. NOT ONE!! Something needs to be done asap. Businesses are losing money because of a bunch of useless orange barrels.
