First I do quite a bit of just driving around and everywhere I go especially in Santa Rosa county people are in groups not wearing masks, not socially distancing. I believe it’s one of the very reasons we’ve been seeing such increases and continue to see them. I ask anyone questioning the effectiveness of masks if they would have surgery with nobody including the surgeon in the operating room wearing a mask? It’s not a fantasy folks. We KNOW the effectiveness of masks to prohibit germ spreading! Don’t be so ignorant! Just tell the truth. You don’t wear one because you could care less about others or yourself or you are just incredibly ignorant, or you just you have no ability to self discipline...or a combination of all those things. Yet the numbers keep going up. When out I do wear face covering and for the most part I see everyone else wearing one, yet the numbers keep going up. Thank you for your diligent reporting on the COVID 19 cases. I hope that a vaccine or cure will be developed soon. I read that people who have the Blood Type O are better able to fight the virus than other blood types. I'm hoping that by wearing masks and having O+ blood will give me some protection. I just don't understand why people are refusing to wear masks to know this thing out. We should be doing everything poyto keep each other safe. The people who are turning the mask wearing into a political issue are just beyond reasonable. I don't know when Americans became so bitter and angry with each other, but it needs to stop. United we stand, divided we fall. And we will fall, if we don't start trying to compromise with each other and quit making the other side seem like demons. The politicians created this divide in order to control us. We need to show them that we are all Americans, and they are serving us, not the other way around. They seem to think that the taxpayers' money belongs to them. Thomas Jefferson said that when the government forgets who they serve, then it's time for them to be removed and replaced with a new one. On Saturday, Channel Three news reported over 500 new cases in Escambia County, however they never mentioned over half or those were from the Century prison.
