Money is not the “root of all evil”. Read your Bible first. It says that the LOVE of money is the root of all evil. 1 Timothy 6:10: For the love of money is the root of all of evil. Money is not evil, but the love of it is.

That story is a strike out. SEVEN counts of possession of a forged instrument. Not ONE check. And it’s not forged until someone endorses it the wrong way and deposits it or until they change the amount on the check.

A person’s ability to play a sport should not be the litmus test of their character, nor the fact that they were, or are a teacher or coach. I have watched this man play ball, teach and even coach, so yes it would be sad to see past accolades negated by a slip in judgement. Our character might be molded by our past actions, but our present actions shouldn’t be excused or disregarded by our past, whether it be for the good or the bad.
Whew! I gotta come for air, I went deep on that one.
