Not one problem when I went and voted. I had to wait maybe 30 seconds before walking in and up to the table to prove who I was. No one should mind showing some identity. I felt great about voting because I love our country! I wanted everyone to know you can go vote. It is safe, wear your mask, that is required. Everyone needs to go vote this November. The freedom we enjoy can be taken away.

Yeah. …what Stephanie said….why would the council be voted on without the Mayor also being voted on….sounds like a waste of tax payers money if that is the case. If not why are no results being shared.

Mike ‘Do Nothing’ Hill was extremely nasty and mean in the final days of his campaign. Hopefully, now in a forced retirement he will fade quickly into the background and not emerge again.

So very happy and grateful that Chairman Barry and Commissioners Bergosh and May will have four more years to lead this County. We may not have seen eye to eye on everything during a difficult past year, but I do believe–as do thousands of others, as evident from the vote–that they are the best people to continue to lead and see our community through some difficult times ahead. They have the experience to know how tough that’s going to be, and yet they are willing to continue to meet it head on. I’m proud of my support of all of them and feel blessed today that all three of them will be on that dais for another four years. And I honestly believe that the people who didn’t support them don’t understand the bullets they dodged.

Escambia County voted back the leadership it needs, and there is so much hope that the commissioners elect will embrace the coming challenges and guide us through to the other side, and that our community will be stronger because of it.
