I wish somebody would explain to me exactly what the TOC employees do. They don’t repair or maintain the gas service, they don’t repair or maintain the sewer service, now they don’t fix or maintain this city park. What the heck is going on?

I’m not an expert, but wouldn’t this landing always be buried under sand unless a jetty is established on the upriver side of it?

“Cleanup” could best begin in the Voting Booth for Century Town Council and Mayor in the elections.
Lots of debirs and waste to be removed from that bunch.

Cannot account for monies, “Transparency” like the bottom mud of the landing and foul waters deep and dark.

City needs LESS to do BETTER than to try and expand reach in hopes of diverting the EYES-ON the council and mayor.

The town doesn’t not the funds nor the resources in man power, or equipment to properly maintain a public boat ramp. Time to let it go. It would be good if the state would build a ramp there. The FBIP would be a good place to start looking for the funding.

It’s not in the town limits, so turn it over to the county, and let the parks and recreation department run it. Then while they’re at it, shutter the town’s government and turn that over to the county too.
