I myself was traveling on my motorcycle through a busy intersection when a vehicle made a right turn in front of my person well aware of the fact that I was coming through the intersection hit the right turn signal and sat with their brakes on in the middle of the road for me to hit them I tried to go around the vehicle on the left hand side only for them to turn their wheels to the left and encourage their left side to make contact the front of my motorcycle fortunately for myself there was a witness who saw the whole thing go down and it was clear that that driver’s actions were reckless, despite my injuries I waved the ambulance away made a report with the sheriff and went to work I was not wearing a helmet but God was with me I made it to work and was released from work because my knee has swollen beyond recognition if only the writer in this situation had a GoPro on his helmet we might be seeing the same maneuver that happened to me to him because it happens all the time , someone turning in front of you or someone over taking the lane recklessly with no regard for the vehicle or motorcycle that’s literally right behind them

@fltom law enforcement has tried in the past but the bikes refuse to stop and are usually going well over a 100mph, if anything should happen to one of them law enforcement is always held accountable.

the signs say to watch out for motorcycles, but i usually do not have time to. zzzzzooooooooommmmmmm!!!!!!!! and they are out of sight before you can see them. i know this is not the case for most motorcycle riders but a lot of them do it and give a bad name to all.

Signs on vehicles everywhere warning us to watch out for motorcycles. No one tells motor cyclists to drive safely. I see them passing in no passing lanes, skipping through middle of two lanes, passing from around right lane, running lights, speeding, and I wonder how are we to watch out for them. Sad…

I live in Cordova Park, which is About 3-4 miles South of I-110. Late at night, most any night (1-3 am), I can hear “crotch rockets” that sound to be racing on the interstate. This is so frequent that i feel certain that law enforcement could catch them with little effort…just a thought.

Deaths like this are completely avoidable. A rider’s responsibility to their own safety is paramount!! Stupidly will usually get you killed or severely injured on a motorcycle.

The faster you drive the percentages also increase exponentially that you will die in an accident. It is literally 30X that for someone on a motorcycle than a passenger vehicle. This is why I gave it up.

We had a motorcycle pass us on 110 SB last week traveling approx. 100+ mph. I wonder if this is the same motorcycle.
Such a shame. Prayers for the family.
