25 and got a Vette. i can see that, good job, good credit, it could happen. or, rich mom and dad, who knows? most of us were not that lucky at 25. if we had been we would not have driven it in such a fashion. (not in town at least, hehe).

That is what a FHP put on the ticket of the driver running 75 to 80 on 95-a,when he hit my son from the wrong side of the road. FHP does care either damage done did not phase the officer that going 45 would have done that damage. Slap on the wrist is all they get.

Me and My husband were stopped at that red light coming back home from Pensacola, when that Guy, came up behind us, on the turning lane side, then stomped the gas, ( hard to believe that would be a medical issue) then flew through that intersection, I knew he had hit someone coming head on direction. The people at the light were sitting ducks… the driver got out of that car, then Ran off. It is by the Grace and Mercy of GOD that no one was killed. The power of prayer… wow.

Well this Corvette will not be seen on the road again it’s going to the junkyard! There has been too many wrecks at that intersection. Glad no one got hurt!

Unless this was a Speed situation–aka a bomb was strapped to his car that would explode if he slowed down below 90 mph–then his driving can’t be justified.

Quit trying to make excuses for this dunce. I can’t believe that a 25 year old kid in a yellow corvette would drive like an ass.

What happened to the driver of the vette? Did he get arrested for weakness driving? If not he should have. What type of medical situation (If there was one) could make someone drive that way? A year in jail, and loosing his driving privileges for five years would be in good order, but we know that won’t happen! That fool could have gotten someone’s family member killed!
