Greed at its finest ! several of these companies are committing FRAUD ! I personally know the owners of several of the companies listed on here & I can assure you they never lost a dime in regards to COVID19. 1 Family in particular owns more than 1 of the listed companies & has been approved for millions. Was the same way with several of these crooks scamming the BP settlement years ago. These are some sorry People getting away with this

So if the business got money for this it’s suppose to go to pay employees is my Understanding? So if an employee is under dr orders awaiting a COVID test result, can the business require the employee to use their pto to be paid? I thought if you were under a dr orders for this the employee had to be paid and could Not be punished for it. Can someone please explain? And also can said company cut hours on employees due to the pandemic yet they still received a large amount of money? I see a lot of “small businesses” on here that raise concern for me, and them receiving the amount they did, when I know personally legit small business that received NOTHING!

If a business received these loans, monies whatever you wanna call it. And a employee is under doctor care (quarantined) awaiting COVID results….can the business require the employee to use their pto to get paid? It was my understanding in the beginning no employee could be punished for this and had to be paid? Can someone please explain?

@ James Leigh – I don’t think I would state in a PUBLIC forum that you paid employees yet did not issue W2s or 1099s! You have already been receiving plenty of “free” money by not paying employment taxes on your employees. I’d keep my mouth shut if I were you.

I don’t get the churches. They don’t pay income taxes, are able to discriminate, generally tell the government to keep out of their business. But they love a good handout.

At least two of the churches and one of the religious schools on this list have massive construction projects going on.

Which leads to the next point…construction never stopped. Why would contractors need a handout?

Under the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) created by the CARES Act, loans may be forgiven if borrowers use the proceeds to maintain their payrolls / West Florida Medical center clinic put their employees on unemployment and STILL COLLECTED 20 million dollars! They have asked for loan forgiveness / THIS IS FRAUD!
