I clean, separate and carefully recycle and have done so for years. A few people dump trash and boom, they remove the containers. Instead of punishing the majority who are doing right, put some cameras and pay for them fining the #*~ who are dumping. I just wonder where they are dumping there stuff now?. They haven’t been taught anything and we’ve been taught that doing right is a “waste” of time when it involves ECUA.

@ Mike. You’re right. It was all part of those sneaky commissioners master plan. Use Covid to get rid of almost free and cheap labor all over the county just to close these recycling sights. But you were not fooled.Next they might create daily rainstorms and close the Fire Department. Stay vigilant and steadfast .

Unfortunately BARRINEAU PARK COMMUNITY CENTER lost their recycling dumpster about 6 months ago for the very same reason…abuse of those dumping trash instead of recyclables..MOTHER EARTH IS CRYING THESE DAYS!

If the people who were doing it can’t do it, why would saying it won’t be done be an excuse?

Do you expect the ones who weren’t doing it to begin doing it or the ones who can’t do it to do it anyway?

Well you could see this coming due to the irresponsible people who would use these sites to dump anything in and around these dumpsters. I know these people could care less but now you have put more pressure on the sanitation / recycling facilities that will effect all sanitation services
