This looks like another case where there is a bill to the insurer if there is insurance, no bill if no insurance. The cost will be borne by either the insurance companies or the federal government. Ultimately we will all pay for any tests done either by taxes to federal government or insurance rates to cover those they have to cover as well as paying customers.

We were already running over a trillion dollar deficit before all this started hitting us. Many talked about a great economy, but it only looked good from borrowing from the future. On the other hand, this way, they have an incentive to keep us alive to make payments on the bills we are running up.
