Anyone else look at the new deaths by day chart on Florida’s virus dashboard? New deaths per day in Florida peaked on 7/7/20 and nosedived for the last 10 days. That statistic must not fit CNN’s narrative of doom and gloom in a Republican governor’s state.

If you smoke, you cannot smoke in restaurants, etc. Why did these laws pass? Because it harmed other people. Same thing with mask, you not wearing a mask harms me and others.

Sooo… the death rate is just under 1.5% for the State of Florida. You can’t really compare this to the yearly flu because it varies wildly from year to year. Now having said that, Covid19 has killed way more people this year than the seasonal flu did last year. I don’t thank that has been the case year by year going back the last decade.

I’m with Molino Mom!!!

I will be out there with my mask. I wear my mask to support and show respect for medical personnel, EMTs, fire departments, and everyone who goes to work each day and is required to wear their mask continuously 8 to 10 hours a day.

There are 49 total that are in Escambia County, but their city/location data is missing. And sometimes we have noticed that the overall count goes up one day, but city counts won’t increase until the next daily report. They are counted first in the total, then it appears they are sometimes classified after the data cutoff time.

In the statistics, an area is listed. For instance Gonzalez — 2 (+1) . Exactly what does that mean. Is it that the person lives in Gonzalez, or is that where they assume that, that is where they got the bug.?
