People with common sense know that it is about control. Dictators issue edicts to their subjects. Leaders of a free society, who govern by the consent of the people, issue guidelines. You can choose to let others mandate that you restrict your breathing if you like. My body, my choice.

It is not about being selfish and it is not about health and staying safe. A Mask requirement is to teach every person shall be subservient to all govt officials and rules or whims no matter how absurd it has nothing to do with health safety. Mask has no point other than teach subservience, submission, and silence.
If you can’t see that by now, there is probably no sense in further discussion. Keep wearing your mask, and breathing your own CO2 exhaust, virus, and bacteria trapped in the warm humid environment around your mouth and lower face. Ben Franklin had it right with regard to “safety and security”.

if you get a rash use a different material, if you get short of breath u probably get that way even when you do not wear a mask. as far as the death rate I would not worry about that because it is so small unless it is you or one of your family members( wife, daughter, son ,mother, etc.) so be selfish and do not wear a mask. it is your RIGHT!!!!

yeah hitsbuff, I read where oxygen molecules are too big to pass through masks but co2 molecules can pass through and that is very dangerous. masks are definitely unsafe.
