Are we REALLY suprised by this? We were on “quarantine” for a month, and you could still pretty much do whatever you wanted even then! You could go hiking, fishing, swimming, etc and even then no one social distanced. I drove by the bluffs on one occasion (just taking my kids on a ride) and the lot was full and there were cars lined up down the side of the road... when normally there would be 5 cars there tops pre-quarantine. My family and I are still self isolating unless absolutely NECESSARY because when I do need to go out 90% of people are not wearing masks or social distancing. This is not going to get better unless people start doing what’s right and safe. Really disappointed in our community for being so selfish and our state representatives for not handling this better.

It's almost as if opening everything back up with no vaccine, no treatment, and no cure was bad idea. Kind of like how having tens of thousands of people from all over the country coming to Jacksonville in August, right before our kids are supposed to go back to school, is a bad idea.
