@Bewildered. Hospitals aren’t just for COVID-19 patients, but they are filling them up. That means other people – with heart attacks, involved in traffic accidents, or other conditions that require hospitalization – will be impacted. There is no way around the responsibility we have to keep people safe. Everything considered, wearing masks and distancing seem very small inconveniences.

The more official data we are getting the more confusing it gets. I am basing my opinion on the assumption that none of the speakers was lying. I watched the news conference live and the physicians at Sacred Heart downplayed the virus. They estimate that 10 times more people are actually positive than what the official numbers show. Putting this into perspective, in Escambia County 16,600 people are or were positive with 44 fatalities, a death rate of 1/4 of one percent, In 400 people the virus is fatal for 1 individual !!! more than half of these deaths are people in long term care facilities. You can shelter old and vulnerable people, but kids and working age adults need to get on with their lives. . .

Okids on a bus will pull down thiere mask to talk. Wipe thiere noses. Fight or argue.I don’t see it being safe for anyone right now. You literally can not breathe. People suffocate and it’s scary. Ventilators are used and don’t gaurantee your gonna live. Just helps you breathe. It’s serious. Desantis only cares about economy. We’re guinny pugs. Are we gonna let our kids be his guinny pig. There is no cure folks. Have you seen the people in the hospitals. It’s sad and Scarry. Suffocating to death. What has changed but hand sanitizer and butt wipes. Love your family. Then tell desantis to SEND his kid on a bus to a school that’s crowded. With a disease out there with no cure. Nothing’s changed yet.

Only a short time ago there was praise along the gulf coast for the way the virus had impacted our area in such a minute manner and it was said that the small amount of cases were probably due to humidity. I am curious to know what those with that opinion are thinking now?
